Breathing Places was the BBC learning campaign behind the popular Springwatch to series and encouraged people to get out in their own green spaces. As producer of the Manchester Festival of Nature (2006, 2007) Harriet produced one of 14 similar city centre events and animated interlinked venues including Urbis, Exchange Square using the big screen, Manchester Cathedral, the Arndale Centre and Angel Meadow Park. The popular CBeebies stars from Balamory were a draw for young families. Working with Ben and Mimi Faulks (Plunge Boom Theatre) they created the Microscopic Animal Enthusiasts and the Troll Cooks as bespoke pieces for children to engage with the nature theme in a fun, imaginative way.
In 2015, Harriet worked with the Blackburn BID (Business Improvement District) to develop this theme for a similar large scale nature themed event, Countryside Comes to Town to drive footfall to the town centre on behalf of traders, working with partners at The Mall, Blackburn Market, Blackburn Cathedral, Blackburn Library and local businesses. The event starred Ben Faulks as the CBeebies favourite, Mr Bloom.
